In esergo, due estratti. Il primo, Kimura Kyuho, //Kenjutsu fushigi hen// [On the Mysteries of Swordmanship], 1768. Il secondo (con refuso in italiano, purtroppo!) tratto da Cesare Pavese, //Dialoghi con Leucò//. Torino: Einaudi, 1947 (Saggi ; 58).
